The hotel was located just next door to the center of purchase, a restaurant and Tim Hortons and the outskirts of Sarnia. My queen room was recently renovated with a double bed. Shower facilities, a hair dryer, and bath sheets were a plus.

The faulds motel is located close to stores. The owners were friendly and the check-in was straightforward. I appreciated that the bed linens were crisp and clean.

The location was handy, within walking distance of Bluewater Fun Park.

No positives stand out about the stay here.

The room felt more like a scene out of a horror flick than a motel room. I had to deal with a door that had no lock, a total lack of basic furnishings, and gross items in the shower, including a hypodermic syringe. Plus, the temperature control was broken. Honestly, I couldn't even watch TV because there was no cable box, and the bugs crawling around didn't help the situation.

The clerk recommended a good Indian restaurant nearby, Tandoori Chaska, which exceeded my expectations. The room felt fresh, and the comfy bed provided a peaceful night's sleep. Tip, don't forget to enjoy the crisp sheets!

Room conditions were poor, with no furniture and a door without a lock. The shower had unhygienic issues, including a syringe and cockroaches. The heating was nonfunctional, leaving the room uncomfortably cold. Attempts to enjoy the television were thwarted by the absence of essential equipment this experience wholly unsatisfactory.
